Image of the Month - APRIL 2010

Broad-leaved Cattail, Assentoft, Denmark

The sun is getting stronger day by day and everything in nature are living up after the long and cold winter. One early morning at the lake I was photographing the very photogenic plant the Broad-leaved Cattail in the morning sun. It was such a beautiful morning with the mist hanging low over the landscape, I took a lot of images of the backlit plants but suddenly a Reed Bunting landed and began eating the seeds from the plant - an outstanding moment in time!
