Theme: The Siberian Winter Attack - Part 10

The magic of winter light!
Winter is my favourite season of the year to take pictures. Just as the last rays of sun of the day goes down, the light becomes intense, and I have to work fast to capture it! I loved the way the ice was picking up all the colours revealing detail in a way that can only be described as pure magic. In the evening the low sun is often softened by ice-crystals in the air and the sunlight get an amazing red colour, shown in the images below.

This seagull collection is made at Mariager fjord, Denmark - February 9, 2012
