Wilderness in Black and White

Even though this forest scene is so green it begs for colour, I played around with what it might look like in black and white. Photographing a colourful scene like this and converting it to black and white, is new to me, but I like the way the shades of green are turned into levels of grey, and I really like the simplicity of this chaotic wilderness forest, when it is converted into black and white; everything are transformed into lines, shapes and the blacks, grays, and whites really make the tones and texture "pop".
