Geese arrive in the dark months of autumn, they bring the scent of ice and snow on their wings, a sense of otherness, their tales of the north told in muted honks. A sure sign that a shift is upon us, is when you hear the honk-honk-honking sound from huge formations in the sky. I photographed this formation near lake Nors in Thy Nationalpark, the sky was gloriously dotted with moving silhouettes of the travellers on a dark moody sky, I managed to get a few shots and I really like the simplicity of this image.
