On a clear cold morning, not far from my home I was exploring the local pond in search of pictures of the first autumn frost. At first I was photographing the thin ice on the surface of the pond, but soon I aimed my lens towards the photogenic Broad-leaved Cattail. I worked a lot to get the background beautiful and in harmony with the main object and I succeeded. I like the telephoto effect and the soft background, when I look at the pictures, I get a special feeling and I can almost smell the fresh frosty air.
